So ladies roll around in their Range Rover Sport, 21 inch rimmed vehicles with a face lift to match; and men BBM their lunch meeting confirmations with their manicured nails and cosmetic surgery dental work down to a fine smile. My central question is where do we draw the line?
Runaway is a film by Kanye West featuring music from his latest offering 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'. I watched the film on MTV and I thought it was amazing. Even through Hip Hop's evolution, Kanye still manages to bring the vintage Hip Hop sound to his music, but still keep it relevant to now, it's a perfect blend of old and new. The film has beautiful composition, minimalist set design, stunning wardrobe and a basic script, that is definitely layered. It's more of a show rather tell film, that is beautifully done. It reminds me of the importance of ideas, passion for your art and being original in who you are. Kanye seems to always push his creative envelope and the results are films like 'RUNAWAY'.
